When the king of Rome, Jeesur August
Had issued an order which was a must,
Imposing tax on the Jewish comunity;
What a mean thought and act of cruelty!
Joseph and Mary left Rome to get rid of
Tax to Bethelhem, eased the tension off
The pregnant Mary rode on a donkey,
In search of a place to deliver the baby.
A kind security man offered a cow shed,
For them to rest there on the floor of mud,
Baby was born and bright light glowed
Along with light, the scent too spread
Mary put an old cloth for the baby to clad.
A cowherd who wandered happily there,
saw a beautiful sight, one that was rare,
A fairy appeared, with an aura of light,
With melodious voice among luminous light,
Told him not to be scared of seeing her,
And deliveing the good message, furthur
"The king was born to protect you all,
JESUS, the great to love you all,
Go fetch the baby in the cow shed,
Bethelhem is where you'll find" the fairy said,
Thrilled he fetched the baby gayly,
And saw the parents with the baby lovely.
Austrologers who saw the wonderful light,
searched for the baby with the powerful light
Saw a star telling the birth of their protecter
They were also there to see their precepter,
Herad, the king of that place loosing his peace,
Told an austrolger to find the baby's place.
Finding the divine baby in His mothers arm
Shining and smiling with peace and calm,
Giving many gifts the austrologers returned;
Appearing in their dream the fairy warned
Never to go back to see the eveil king Herad,
And to change their way to make his plot void.
Joseph, the father who too had the dream,
Took the baby to Egypt along with them
Knowing plans to kill the baby that Herad had,
As the fairy told, "Go to Egypt and be saved",
Herad who came to know all plans too,
And ordered to kill all babies below two.
Having made plans to have the baby killed
Herad got killed by an opposer instead,
Jesus, the BABY was saved by the proposer,
To be with us and remain as our protector
Protected are we from the sins done by us all
By Jesus, our Lord who always bears them all.
MERRY X'MAS AND WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR
